    Peggy Anderson, M.Ed.

    Administrator of Business Relations

    Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services

     

    Peggy Anderson serves as Administrator of the Business Relations Program for the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS).  She is a member of the ADRS executive leadership team and serves as a state, regional and national consultant on business partnerships, disability in the workplace, and best practices in employment of people with disabilities, having worked with these entities since 1976.  Her undergraduate degree in psychology and philosophy, College of Mount Saint Vincent-New York City, a master’s degree in Rehabilitation & Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a graduate of the National Executive Leadership Institute from the University of Oklahoma prepared her for her profession, along with extensive training in marketing, ADA, strategic planning, leadership, employment law and disability issues - most recently the new mandates from Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act.

    In 2003 Peggy served as an appointee to a 12 member Presidential Task Force for the Veteran's Administration Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment program for veterans with disabilities.
